It is easy to forget that events are more than clothes, as they are made with fashion at the benefit of the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute (also known as the Met Gala). He is also a museum fundraiser, and this year he has raised more money than ever since the gala began 80 years ago, and is the opening party for the new costume lab exhibition. This year, it is called “Super Fine: Tailing Black Style,” and is about the history and culture of Black Dandism.

The Formula 1 driver and Gala co-chairs appeared to literally get a dress code based on his Ivory Welsh Bonner ensemble, which includes a bow tie and a jacket with tail.
