The San Francisco 49ers beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with a game-winning field goal off the feet of Jake Moody, but it wasn't a great day for special teams.
In fact, an ugly moment befell San Francisco's sideline when star receiver Deebo Samuel was spotted grabbing long-snapper teammate Tabor Pepper by the neck.
The moment came when Pepper walked in as Moody was exchanging words with Samuel after missing his third consecutive field goal.

Samuel then scratched Pepper in the neck, but things could have been worse if Moody hadn't stopped Pepper from going after his teammates.
After the game, Samuel spoke out about the situation and credited his actions for contributing to the heat of the moment.
“It's like being frustrated in a heated game,” Samuel told reporters at his locker after the 23-20 win. “It was a close race and it was a little out of character, but I'll talk to Moody about it.”

Samuel added that his reaction to Pepper wasn't because Pepper said anything to him.
“I didn’t talk to him,” Samuel said. “He just came.”
Mr Pepper was also asked about the incident and said Mr Samuel's words to the special forces were “lock them up”.

“We knew what our job was and we took it,” Pepper added.
Moody returned to the 49ers' sideline this week after dealing with an injury, but missed just one field goal in 14 attempts earlier this season.
But his struggles on Sunday's road trip nearly cost the team in the end. The winning field goal was sucked into the uprights, making up for it.
Meanwhile, Samuel caught five targets for 62 yards, including a 32-yard catch-and-run from Brock Purdy.
