ESPN's “Around the Horn” brings back some of the old faces before the final show.
ESPN announced the cancellation of the show in March, with the final show taking place on May 23rd. So on Thursday's episode they took home Jemere Hill, where they had their sports centre moored before it became canned in 2018.
Hill was let go of the network during his first presidency due to social media posts about President Donald Trump and his supporters.

During the episode, host Tony Leary and other panelists had segments that responded to old takes from her.
“I was a little nervous when I saw you pulling up our tweets. Hey, I'm just back, man!” she said.
The episode also featured the return of Kate Fagan, who left the network in 2018. Fagan pleaded for the “trans kids” of sports.
“I know it's my last time (show). And I want to say something that deserves that platform. It deserves trans kids to play sports,” she said. “Think of what you remember from your time playing sports. 99% of that is the first time Jersey discovers your favorite numbers, community, joy, and those high fives.

“It's a moment when you play great with your teammates. It's a sense of belonging. You don't know gender. Trans kids deserve you the same as everyone else… Sports is joy. Sports is humanity.
There is no law or order that prohibits transgender children from participating in sports. Trump signed an executive order in February banning biological men identifying girls or women as competing with biological women.
Shortly after it was announced, the show was over, former panelist Jay Mariotti, who was a regular on the show until the 2010 domestic violence arrest, said in an interview that the show was being cancelled because it “wakes up.”
