Davante Adams has been a big topic in the NFL this week.
The three-time All-Pro wide receiver wants to be traded to the Las Vegas Raiders, NFL Media reported on Oct. 1. Although a deal doesn't appear to be imminent, Adams is clearly unhappy with his situation in Las Vegas, and multiple teams appear to be at least considering a trade. Add a star receiver to the roster who could potentially be traded.
The New York Jets are one of the teams mentioned as a potential landing spot for Adams, as he maintains ties with former teammate Aaron Rodgers.
Adams and Rodgers formed one of the NFL's most formidable quarterback-receiver duos when they were teammates for eight seasons in Green Bay.

Rodgers recently addressed rumors linking Adams to the Jets, but prefaced his comment by saying he didn't know how much he could say because of the NFL's tampering rules. However, when it comes to a possible reunion, he made his wishes clear.
“I still have a deep friendship with him,” Rodgers said. “We spend a lot of time together in the offseason. He's a great guy and a great player. The rest is out of my hands.”

When asked how players benefit from a change of scenery, Rodgers replied, “The grass is greener when you water it. … You can create special situations wherever you are.” .

This isn't the first time Rodgers has spoken highly of Adams since the four-time MVP quarterback joined the Jets. “I love Davante Adams, and I can't wait to play with him again,” Rodgers said during a celebrity golf tournament in Lake Tahoe in July.
The latest trade reports regarding the star wideout surfaced shortly after Raiders coach Antonio Pierce appeared to like a social media post suggesting Adams could be included in a trade package.
Adams admitted during a regular appearance on FanDuel TV's “Up & Adams” that he “hasn't heard anything” from his head coach since the post started circulating on social media.
“I’m going to keep my head down and keep doing what I do and anything related to that, let the chips fall where they may,” Adams said. “But since that (post) thing happened, I haven't had any contact with anyone on the team,” the six-time Pro Bowler said.
“The only thing I can control is this conversation that's happening here.”
