The New York Jets are looking to end a 13-year playoff drought this season, the longest in North American professional sports.
Owner Woody Johnson spoke at the NFL Awards in February and made his expectations clear after the 7-10 season.
“They've all gotten the message. It's time to go. We've got to get results this year. We've got to get results this year. We're not required to make the playoffs, but we've got to do a lot better than seven wins,” Johnson said, via Sports Illustrated .

But things may not go as planned in Florham Park.
The Athletic conducted a survey of NFL agents asking for their thoughts on what's going on within the league.
Three of the 31 agents surveyed called the Jets the most unstable team in the NFL, with only the Carolina Panthers (9) and Las Vegas Raiders (7) receiving more votes.
“The Jets. They're a total mess over there. Look at how they handled Aaron Rodgers. Has they had a stronger player? He missed minicamp. They haven't been able to turn him into a team player. The atmosphere in the building is awful,” an anonymous NFL agent told the outlet.
Rodgers had traveled with the team for offseason voluntary workouts and overtime activities but did not attend the Jets' two-day minicamp, instead traveling on a scheduled trip to Egypt.
The only reason the Jets won seven games last season was because of their elite defense, as their offense, led by reserve Zach Wilson, was full of holes.

At one point during the season, the Jets went 11 quarters without scoring a touchdown on offense, and Wilson was traded to the Denver Broncos during the offseason.
Expectations are high for Johnson this season because Rodgers is back and healthy after rupturing his left Achilles tendon just four snaps into his Jets debut last season against the Buffalo Bills.
They signed free agent offensive linemen Tyron Smith, Morgan Moses and John Simpson and bolstered their offensive line with a first-round draft pick in offensive tackle Olu Fashanu.
General manager Joe Douglas signed former Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Mike Williams to serve as a playmaker for Rodgers alongside Garrett Wilson and Breece Hall.

The core of the defense remains intact, led by talented cornerback Sauce Gardner and defensive lineman Quinnen Williams.
If the Jets don't get back on track come playoff time, changes could be made to the coaching staff and front office.
The Jets will begin their playoff quest on September 9 when they travel to California to face the San Francisco 49ers.
