PGA Tour pro Adam Hadwin compensated with the Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club course crew last week after his frustration at the Valspar Championship made the most of him.
In the second round of the tournament, the 37-year-old Canadian smashed the club to the ground on hole 10 before sprinkling it on the course.

Perhaps the scenes that weren't in Hadwin at the time were comical as Hadwin tried to push the sprinkler's head back to the ground, causing water to spray everywhere. He failed.
The sprinklers were eventually turned off, and Hadwin finished a five-over par, missing the cut on three shots. However, on Friday, the Valspar Championship revealed that the professional golfer had paid compensation and that he apologized for his explosion at his lunch.
“In addition to paying for all repairs for 2017 champion @ahadwingolf, @ahadwingolf, also sent a video message and bought lunch for the entire course maintenance department,” X's post.

Innisbrook Agricultural Superintendent Ryan Stewart first shared photos of Chipotle's lunch and thanked Hadwin for the gestures.
“Thanks to Adam Hadwin @jessicahadwin for paying for the sprinkler head and buying the staff lunch. It was a great touch and the staff loved it.
Hadwin's wife Jessica responded to a social media post and joked, “Next we'll do the fix with that sprinkler.”

The chances of a Hadwin club finding a sprinkler head were rare, but at first it wasn't.
In 1999, 21-time PGA Tour winner Davis Love III fought against the Sprinkler System at the Bay Hill Invitational. After seeing his shot pass through the green, he pounded the sprinkler with a wedge of sand and crushed the valve.
The water quickly flooded the bunker, where he took a shot.
