Alex Thompson, co-author of former President Joe Biden's recently released exposure, said on Fuchs News Sunday that top aides would “rationalize” to hide the president's cognitive decline.
In an interview with Shannon Bream on “Fox News Sunday,” Thompson was asked whether officials close to Biden, such as his Cabinet Secretary, expressed regret at the potential accomplices covering up Biden's health.
“There was definitely a lot of self-reflection that if anything, if anything, they should have done it differently,” Thompson said.
“I think there was a feeling like I saw a lot of the Democrats who were watching this and the moment I saw it.

Alex Thompson, co-author of New Biden Expose, said he discovered through his report that he appeared willing to do “undemocratic” things to hide Biden's cognitive decline, fearing that it would be of no use to Donald Trump. (Fox News Sunday)
“Now, we'll see whether history decides they're right to do that. But this is also part of why the White House is protected from as many people as possible, including ministers.”
Bream spoke to an aide who said Biden “just had to win” because “the aides could pick up the slack.” Bream described the quote as essentially “accepting.” Biden shouldn't run again.
The former DNC chair calls the book claim that Biden did not recognize him “a bold face lie.”

“Who was running the White House for the second Biden term?” Breem asked Thompson.
“Well, this person went on to say, 'When you're voting for President, you're voting for the entourage around him.' But these aides did not even assist in the Senate – these were White House aides, and these were unelected people. ” replied Thompson. “One of the things that really pop up in our report here is, if you believe it, and I think a lot of these people truly believe that Donald Trump is an existential threat to democracy – you can streamline anything, including doing things that are undemocratic at times, including what I think is what this person is talking about.”

Thompson and CNN's Jake Tupper have been in a round discussing and promoting a new book entitled “Original Singh.” This draws much attention to how critics detail Biden's cognitive decline while in the White House was even worse than most people were suspected.
The book is exacerbated by other revelations that show that Biden's cognitive abilities are likely to be hidden from the public by those closest to him.
