The Brooks have filed a lawsuit against LSU in August last year due to negligence, and the school did not properly handle the situation, and doctors who had surgery in Brooks Junior were qualified to do so.
The lawsuit also claimed that LSU staff had told Brooks to play soccer, even if he felt sick, and threatened to take where he had started.
“Greg would need care for the rest of his life for his injury as a result of his medical dealers,” said Greg. “Obviously, Greg can't play soccer again, and never work or take care of himself without the help of others.”
LSU established a donation fund at the time, but the lawsuit said that the funds were not transferred.
Brooks' lawsuit is named the Virgin of Lake Hospital, which he had undergone.
“We cannot comment on specific individuals or situations with the privacy method of the patient and on hold,” said the hospital. “The Lake's Virgin Nururo Neurosurgery Team is one of the most experienced teams in Louisiana, giving patients the best opportunity to get positive results in any situation.”
“LSU cannot comment on the progressive lawsuit, but since Gregbblex continues to work in the rehabilitation process, we will stay in our thoughts and prayers,” said the university last October.
