During a joint speech to Congress on Tuesday night, President Donald Trump reminded the American people that “American dreams cannot be stopped” and that “our country is on the verge of a comeback that the world has never witnessed and probably never seen again.”
Congress spent the night celebrating President Trump's victory, but Americans only enjoy them if Congress is at work and passes a clean, continuing resolution by March 14th.
The interests will not be high. The border crossings have fallen 94% in the first 43 days of the Trump administration. Immigration and customs enforcement are arresting illegal foreigners who have committed violent crimes against American women and children. The radical gender ideological tragedy that has been infected in many American classrooms is being carried to the heels. Women and girls are protected from biological men who hurt them with athletic activities. DEIs are excluded from the federal government. Trillions of dollars are being invested in the American economy. And billions of dollars of fraud and corruption have been exposed in almost every government agency.
Now, as expected, more and more Democrats are preparing to shut down the government, denying the will of the American people, rather than standing up for them, as they were fully on display on Tuesday night. Democrats voted uniformly for these exact same spending levels just three months ago, but now that Trump is in charge, they're changing their songs. Promoting LGBTQI ideology in Lesotho, wasting millions on circumcising men in Mozambique, and billions on illegal immigrant housing in the United States are simply more important to these politicians than the hopes and dreams of American citizens.

Some criticize the budget that extends current spending levels, while American heritage behaviour certainly understands its concerns as one of Capitol Hill's most stubborn advocates for the last 15 years. However, supporting clean, ongoing solutions does not mean giving up on financial responsibility. It's exactly the opposite. President Trump's Doge team estimates that they have already saved more than $105 billion to Americans. This amounts to $652.17 per taxpayer. By passing this clean, continuous resolution, they can continue their work by incorporating waste, fraud and corruption.
It's not just Doge. By passing clean, continuous solutions and avoiding government shutdowns, every part of President Trump's administration can continue to advance the common sense policy agenda Americans want. Furthermore, doing so will allow Congress to move into a critical process of enacting budgetary settlements.

In the settlement, Congress can provide additional funding for immigration and customs enforcement efforts to deport criminal illegal aliens and protect American communities. Permanently act on key tax cuts and employment regulations to regain economic certainty for all citizens. Create a roadmap and begin closing the Ministry of Education. Unleashing American energy independence. Dismantle deeper states.
Plus, a clean, ongoing solution will allow Trump administration officials to lay the foundation for regaining their financial sanity by preparing the president's first budget and dramatically reducing the outrageous spending passed during the Biden administration.

Everyday Americans want these common-sense reforms and want President Trump to continue his important work. So we must ensure that these extremists are not successful. In the past, the ongoing resolutions have been used as the ultimate conservatives of Congress fighting for reform, but the situation is different now. Conservatives are now in charge under President Trump's leadership, and we cannot waste historical opportunities to save our country. It is mandatory for us to recognize the moment we are in and use it in bold and decisive actions.
Congress must pass a clean, continuous solution. At this particular moment, the best financial and political solution is for policymakers to continue to undo the damages caused by the previous administration and obtain American results. Not only will President Trump allow him to continue his historic duties, he will also set the stage for Congress to pass a settlement bill this spring, reasserting himself as the main legislative branch of government intended by its founders. And that is something that all lawmakers should be able to support.
