Alex Pallow decided to move around Marcus Erickson on 14 laps, holding the driver down to win the Indianapolis 500 on Sunday afternoon.
It was Parow's first Indy 500 and he is the first Spaniard to win a race.

Palou began the race in sixth position in the second row outside Scott Dixon and the next Felix Rosenqvist. He had to work hard to reach the front as permanent drops of rain and some attention flags came out.
As the race came down to the end, he had the opportunity to move around Erickson. He had some lap traffic before him, but they didn't seem to hinder Parow's ability to win at all. For Palou, it rejoiced the previous stretch in the hopes of kissing the cold milk of bricks and ice after a tough event.
Palou may have had luck with him too.

Tom Brady wins Jimmy Johnson and Indy 500 laps before the race begins
He was behind Alexander Rossi when his vehicle began to leak liquid throughout the truck. Rossi entered the pit in hopes that it would become an issue that could be fixed sooner. But his car set fire to light and his day was over.
Several drivers were leaked all day. It started with Scott McLaughlin, who destroyed his car during a lap for the pace. Marco Andretti followed up with the first green flag lap and crashed.
Rinus Veekay, Robert Shwartzman, Kyffin Simpson, Kyle Larson, Sting Ray Robb, Josef Newgarden and Ryan Hunter-Reay all had problems and ended the day early. Larson was trying to do a “double.” I completed the Indy 500 and Coca-Cola 600.
Erickson, David Marcus, Pat O'Ward and Felix Rosenqvist rounded out the top five.
Keith Kirkwood, Santino Ferucc, Christian Rasmussen, Christian Landgaard and Connor Day concluded the top 10.

Palou has won five wins in the first six races of the IndyCar season. The only wound was a finishing second place in the Grand Prix at Long Beach.
