Adrian Peterson is once again facing legal trouble.
According to USA Today, warrants have been issued for the 2012 NFL MVP's arrest for failing to appear in court in two child support cases.
The warrant was issued in Fort Bend County, Texas, USA Today reported. The sheriff's office did not immediately confirm this information to Fox News Digital.

“This case relates to a misunderstanding regarding Adrian's court appearance regarding child support, and he is actively working with his legal team to resolve this matter as quickly as possible,” his spokesperson Dennis White said in a statement. “There is,” he said. To USA Today. “He is committed to resolving this situation and moving forward positively.”
The former Minnesota Vikings running back has also struggled with bank loans despite earning more than $100 million in his career. According to February court records, Mr. Peterson never paid the $8.3 million he was owed to DeAngelo Vehicle Sales LLC, which he was ordered to pay more than three years ago. He was ordered to pay $2.4 million to creditors in 2019 and had to pay it to a Minnesota bank the year before.
Peterson missed all but one game in the 2014 season after being charged with recklessness or negligence towards a child. He pleaded no contest to assaulting his then-4-year-old son with a tree branch.

In 2022, Peterson was arrested after an incident with his wife on a plane. However, his wife claimed it was just an argument, and the charges were dropped.
Peterson rushed for 14,918 yards in his career, leading the league in rushing three times. He was one of six running backs to reach 2,000 yards in a season and was eight yards away from breaking Eric Dickerson's single-season record in 2012.

However, he still holds the record with 296 rushing yards in a single game, which he achieved in his rookie season. He ran for 253 of those yards in the second half.
