Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels' “Monday Night Football” debut was a night to remember.
Daniels, the No. 2 overall pick in this year's draft, threw two touchdown passes and used his legs to add another, including a beautiful 27-yard pass to wide receiver Terry McLaurin in the fourth quarter.
Daniels evaded pressure in the pocket and delivered a precise pass to the Pro Bowl wide receiver. The impressive play from the rookie quarterback was reminiscent of recent comments made by Cincinnati Bengals defensive back Cam Taylor-Britt about Daniels prior to the start of the Commanders-Bengals Week 3 matchup.

If the Commanders did in fact deploy a college-style offense, the Bengals defense and coaching staff tried to counter it Monday with little success. Washington's offense was so efficient that the team didn't use a punter the entire game.

Monday night's game marked the first time in the Super Bowl era that an NFL game ended without either participating team punting or committing a turnover, according to data compiled by the Elias Sports Bureau.
The Commanders' offense threw for 356 yards and 38 points in a win over the Bengals, but coach Taylor Britt said he had no regrets about his pre-game comments.

“I have no regrets,” Taylor Britt said, via the Cincinnati Enquirer.
Taylor-Britt also clarified that her original comments were not made with any ill intent.
“There was no malice intended in my comments. They were exaggerated in a much bigger way than they were. I certainly retract my statements. I have lost today.”
