Bradley Beale and the Phoenix Suns could be heading for split this offseason.
According to ESPN, the team was pursuing Jimmy Bretter until last month's NBA trade deadline. Nothing happened. Butler became unhappy in Miami and included him in the blockbuster trade that eventually sent him to the Golden State Warriors.

Beal has no transaction clauses in the contract, which could hinder potential transactions near deadlines. However, if the Suns are running beer in the offseason, the three-time NBA All-Star looks open to possibilities.

But Beal told ESPN that if he leaves Phoenix this summer, he would prefer to land with his competitors.

“I enjoy the game, man,” Beale said. “This game is fun. I try not to let anyone take pleasure away for me. It's very difficult. We are all human. We have all the rights to close. But I feel it's just a little more dragging you than you need.”
Beer also suggested that he still has many reasons to smile.

“I'm still playing in the NBA. I'm still doing the best job in the world. There's still no trade clauses, so I'm laughing every day.”
Beal has just over $110 million over the next two years.
