Taylor Swift is now the rightful owner of all her music, and Patrick and Brittany Mahomes love it.
Pop Icon bought a catalog of recordings originally released through large machine records from its latest owner, private equity company Shamrock Capital, to regain control over her whole body.
Swift posted a letter on her website about the news and begged her 281 million Instagram followers to read it with the caption “You Belong With Me,” a reference to one of her hit songs. This post was a photo of Swift with each of her first six albums.

Brittany Mahomes, wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, shared the post on her Instagram story.
“It's so amazing,” Mahomes wrote with tearful eyes and heart emojis.
Patrick reposted X news.
Brittany and Swift have been building friendships in recent years since Swift began dating Patrick's teammate Travis Kelce in 2023.
Throughout that season, the Chiefs WAGs were found in suites together in several Chiefs games.

“I have dedicated my life, but I can't thank you enough for helping me reunite with this art I've never owned before,” Swift spoke to fans in the post. “The best thing that's ever been mine… and it's finally actually.”
Swift had re-recorded and re-released her album under the moniker “Taylor's Version” in an attempt to regain control of her music.

She also released new music, including last year's “The Tortured Poets Department.”
