It's worth noting that Brittany Mahomes and Taylor Swift haven't spent as much time together at Kansas City Chiefs games this season as they did last year.
The two are key pieces to the team's top stars in Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce, respectively.
The apparent separation came as the two appeared to be supporting different candidates in this year's presidential election. Mahomes liked Donald Trump's posts on Instagram and wrote several messages about his critics, while Swift openly supported Kamala Harris.

But both seem to be doing well.
According to multiple outlets, Patrick and Brittany recently attended an Elas Tour-themed party hosted by Swift, and the quarterback danced in the same tuxedo that Kelce wore on stage at the show. Patrick's wife wore a sparkling silver dress.
Brittany posted several photos from the event, including one of Swift, and captioned it, “My friends,” along with a heart emoji.

And Swift stood or sat alongside Brittany in the same suite at nearly every Chiefs game last year. However, Swift has only appeared in two games with Mahomes this year: on Oct. 7 against the Saints and on Nov. 4 against the Buccaneers.
The two made headlines by sitting in separate suites during the Chiefs' first game against the Ravens to open the season. The pair sat apart after Brittany sparked backlash for publicly liking Trump's posts on Instagram. Swift's fan groups on social media were partly responsible for spreading screenshots of Brittany that resembled Trump's posts.

President Trump also weighed in on the controversy after Swift endorsed Kamala Harris in the September 10 presidential election. In an interview on “Fox & Friends” the next day, Trump said he “much likes” Brittany more than Swift.
