Cleveland Browns linebacker Devin Bush has been charged with simple assault on harassment and misdemeanor after he allegedly chased his home in Pittsburgh and smashed a phone call.
The woman who identified herself as Bush's girlfriend reportedly told authorities that she had attacked her, grabbed the keys to her car, and broke her phone in the process.
The woman claimed that Bush, 26, had broken the phone and had not asked for help.

Officers at the Bel Acre Police Department Borough Police Station wrote in billing documents that the debate began after a woman raised the mess in the kitchen with a friend of Bush.
Police said the woman began recording bushes on her phone after becoming “more aggressive.” She claimed that Bush chased her, pinned her to the massage table and placed “his full weight on her” to grab the phone.

Bush reportedly broke her phone and went looking for her iPad as well.
The woman's daughter also attended, and both ran to the neighbor's house. The police affidavit states that significant injuries exist on the right wrist and right leg. She claimed they came from Bush trying to get her phone.

When approaching police, Bush allegedly admitted to destroying the woman's phone.
Bush was the 10th overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers, and spent his first four seasons. He scored 286 combined tackles over 52 games for the franchise before avoiding the past two seasons.
In 2023, Bush played 13 games for the Seattle Seahawks, starting with three of them, tallying 37 tackles (five losses).

He joined the Browns this past season, starting with 10 of 16 games. It was an activated bush, finishing with 76 tackles, one bag and three passes.
