SCRANTON, Pennsylvania — With less than four weeks until Election Day in November, the latest polls in three key battleground states show former President Trump in the lead, but Vice President Kamala Harris remains A close battle continues.
In Pennsylvania, Democratic presidential candidate Harris holds a 49% to 46% lead over Republican standard-bearer Trump, according to a Quinnipiac University poll.
However, the former president leads the vice president in Michigan, 50% to 47%, and in Wisconsin, 48% to 46%.
Harris' 3-point lead in Pennsylvania is down from a 6-point lead in the last Quinnipiac poll a month ago.

The results in Michigan gave Mr. Trump a 3-point lead, a change from last month when a Quinnipiac poll showed Ms. Harris leading by 5 points.
And in Wisconsin, a new poll shows the former president with a 2-point lead, a slight change from September, when the vice president had a 1-point lead.

“That was then, this is now,” said Tim Malloy, a polling analyst at Quinnipiac University. The starburst disappeared in a glow.”
Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin were close, as were Georgia, North Carolina, Arizona and Nevada, which sealed President Biden's 2020 White House victory over Trump. Seven states will decide whether Trump or Harris wins the 2024 presidential election.

Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin are also three Rust Belt states that make up the Democratic Party's so-called “Blue Wall.”
The party held steady control of all three states for a quarter of a century, until Mr. Trump narrowly carried them and won the White House in the 2016 election.
Four years later, in 2020, Biden defeated Trump by narrowly winning three states and returning them to the Democratic column.
Democratic and Republican presidential candidates and their running mates have visited the three states repeatedly this summer.
Trump is holding campaign events in Scranton and Reading, Pennsylvania, on Wednesday. Harris will then return to Pennsylvania with a stop in Erie early next week.

Both candidates also campaigned in Michigan and Wisconsin over the past few days.
All three states also have important Senate races that could determine whether Republicans regain control of the House of Representatives.

In Pennsylvania, a Quinnipiac University poll shows Democratic Sen. Bob Casey leading Republican challenger Dave McCormick 51% to 43%.
The race to succeed Michigan Democratic Sen. Debbie Stabenow is deadlocked between Democratic Rep. Elissa Slotkin and former Rep. Mike Rogers at 48 percent, according to the poll.
And in Wisconsin, polls show Democratic Sen. Tammy Baldwin defeating Republican challenger Eric Hovde 50% to 46%.
The Quinnipiac University poll was conducted October 3-7, and 1,412 likely voters in Pennsylvania, 1,007 likely voters in Michigan, and 1,073 likely voters in Wisconsin were questioned. Ta.
Pennsylvania's sampling error is plus or minus 2.6 percentage points. In Michigan, it's plus or minus 3.1 percentage points. And in Wisconsin, it's plus or minus 3 percentage points.
