He added another one: “The second year is going to be fun!”
White spoke to athletics about Clark's impact on the WNBA earlier this offseason, comparing her to Taylor Swift to the amount of attention she got so quickly and focusing on her craft.
One example of her focus on the game was to recognize the need to stuff the muscles after being thrown a bit in her rookie campaign. Some of that moment led to extensive discussion.

“She has a lot of self-awareness,” White said of Clark. “She quickly realised that. “She did an amazing job of getting into the weight room and focusing on her strength in the center of gravity, her time under tension, all of those points. I think the next step is efficiency. That much sales, a high percentage of field goals.”
Clark also told reporters during the 2024 Parisio Games last year in W-season that he hit the weight room hard.
“I'm small, but I'm trying to holy myself as much as I can,” she said in August 2024 via the New York Post. “…I don't know, I think I'm careful and strong. I'm never going to be the strongest person. I know that. I try to put some weight on and I work hard in the weight room.”
The new W-season begins in mid-May, with Clark opening his 2025 campaign on May 17th, facing fellow rookie star Angel Reese and Chicago Sky.
