WNBA legend Lisa Leslie went to the bat for Indiana Fever star Kate Linklark in a discourse about the number of games the team received nationwide this season.
Fever has 41 nationwide broadcast games. This is the result of Clark's appearance during her rookie 2024 season, when several teams had to move to a larger arena to deal with the demand to see Sharpshooter.

Minnesota Lynx star Nafisa Collier said earlier this week that he was “crazy.” Leslie said she didn't seem to know what a big deal was.
“It's all about money, marketing, and there's no denying what Caitlyn Clark did for the girls' games,” Leslie told USA Today in a story released Thursday. “Why do we feel that kind of way she has more video games? …I don't know what the fact that Kaitlyn has gained a lot of love is. She deserves it and she helped change this game.”

The Sparks of Los Angeles said she was “thank you” to Clark and begged to see how she was affecting the game, the rest of the league and how the “big picture” affects everyone.
“When one player eats, we all eat and we all get more opportunities. “I love that she's not the player who makes it all about her. She gives love and respect to the players who came before her. She shares wealth with her teammates and doesn't have to do that.”
Whether it's positive or negative, Clark has been the WNBA focus since joining the league, and that will continue as long as she is in court.
