CeeDee Lamb is widely regarded as one of the NFL's top wide receivers, and he finished the 2023 season with career highs in receptions, touchdowns and receiving yards.
But the All-Pro wide receiver's offseason has been dominated by a contract dispute, as he seeks a new long-term deal with the Dallas Cowboys, but the two sides appear to remain at an impasse.
Longtime Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones recently suggested a deal could be imminent.
“The fact is, I believe we're united. I'm not going to speak for him. I try not to. But if we didn't want him to stay here, we wouldn't have made him the offer that we did,” Jones said Tuesday.

But Lamb doesn't seem as optimistic as Jones. In a workout video posted to social media, the star wide receiver said he's still waiting to hear from a team about a possible new contract.
“We're still waiting for that call,” Lamb said, “but we're going to hang in there until then.”
Dak Prescott: 'Good conversations' with Cowboys about new contract
Lamb did not participate in the Cowboys' offseason program or mandatory team activities and did not show up when training camp opened last month.
The 25-year-old is due to sit out the 2024 season on his fifth-year option, which will make him an estimated $17.9 million.
“Control what you can control,” Lamb added, “and that's being the best version of yourself.”
NFL Media reported that the Cowboys offered Lamb an estimated $33 million per year, which would make him second only to Vikings star Justin Jefferson in annual salary among NFL wide receivers at his position.

Lamb's contract situation isn't the only pressing issue on the Cowboys' agenda: Next regular season is also the final year of quarterback Dak Prescott's contract, and standout linebacker Micah Person became eligible for a contract extension this offseason.

Head coach Mike McCarthy's future is also uncertain beyond the 2024 season, as his contract expires next year.

Lamb has been selected to the Pro Bowl each of the past three seasons and led the NFL with 135 receptions last year.
He finished the 2023 season with 1,749 yards receiving, second-most in the league. Dolphins star Tyreek Hill's 1,799 yards receiving were the most in the NFL in 2023.
The Cowboys open the season on Sept. 8 in Cleveland against the Browns.
