What looked like a game between the Los Angeles Chargers and the Cincinnati Bengals at SoFi Stadium turned into a thriller in the second half on Sunday Night Football.
However, the Chargers were able to beat the Bengals 34-27 on J.K. Dobbins' second 29-yard touchdown of the game.
The game was deadlocked with 27 seconds left, but Justin Herbert stole the ball with 45 seconds left and Ladd McConkie completed two great passes for 55 yards and drove into the Bengals' territory.

It looked like the Chargers would make a game-winning field goal, but Dobbins found space and took advantage of it to score.
With seconds remaining, Joe Burrow, who fought back in the second half to decide the game, threw a Hail Mary at Tee Higgins, but Derwin James deflected it away for the win.
The Bengals were the first to make field goals in this game, but the first half really favored all of the Chargers as Herbert started moving quickly.

The team's second drive of the game gained 70 yards in just five plays, throwing an absolute dime to tight end Will Dissly for a 29-yard touchdown, and after the extra point, it was a 7-0 drive. It was set to 3. .
After another Red Zone outing for Cincinnati ended in a field goal, Herbert surprised the Chargers faithful with an off-balance dot to Quentin Johnston in the end zone for a 26-yard score. That happened after Johnston gained 22 yards and Dissly gained 20 yards early in the drive.
With the Bengals on a three-and-out, head coach Jim Harbaugh decided to go for an early kill shot in this game, going for a shot on fourth-and-goal from the Bengals' 1-yard line, and J.K. Dobbins took the shot. I decided. Hit the end zone for a 21-6 lead.
Cameron Dicker's chip-shot field goal gave Los Angeles a 24-6 lead at halftime, but the Bengals looked completely dejected. But we saw the second half of the fight. Because they knew this was a must-win game to keep their playoff hopes alive.

Bengals head coach Zac Taylor said at halftime that his team needed to find the end zone when they were down in Chargers territory. When Ja'Marr Chase finally got man coverage and Burrow hit a perfect shot, that's exactly what they accomplished on fourth-and-goal, hitting him with a diagonal ball to score.
This gave the Bengals enough time to get within two touchdowns and get back into the game as long as the defense could make stops. And that's exactly what happened, starting with a three-and-out that Burrow used to his advantage.
On another fourth-down play, Burrow got the look he wanted when Tee Higgins, who was back in the fold after being out with an injury, darted past a defender and ran for a 42-yard touchdown.
So the Bengals are back in this game. The momentum was clearly shifting in this game, and Herbert and the Chargers needed to respond. However, on a rushing play after jumping out of the pocket, Herbert fumbled and the Bengals scooped up the ball.
This was the first turnover of the game for either team, and once again, Burrow knew what to do with it. In almost backyard football fashion, Burrow gave Chase a command midway through the play, and his star receiver complied by turning left in the end zone, allowing Burrow to score Chase's second score of the game, a 17-yard run. I guessed the score for him.
