Kansas City Chiefs defensive lineman Tashaun Wharton had the biggest takeaway of the day in his team's narrow win over the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.
The 26-year-old Wharton spoke after Spencer Shrader's 31-yard field goal as time expired to seal the Chiefs' 30-27 victory over the Panthers at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina. , had left the field.

In a video shared on social media, Bolton appeared to approach a group of fans while removing a game-worn glove that he intended to give to a young Chiefs fan. That's when a young fan leaned over and fell over the fence.
Mr. Wharton reacted immediately and ran over, appearing to try to grab the child.

The Chiefs took a double-digit lead late in the game, but survived by running away against the Panthers.
It was not immediately clear whether the child suffered any injuries from the fall, but Wharton appeared to be able to climb over the fence and pick up the child without incident. The young fan even appeared to have a glove in his hand when he was recalled.

Wharton appeared on “The Pat McAfee Show” to discuss the incident. The boy was shouting his name and was walking to hand a glove to a fan when he saw him collapse. Then he quickly grabbed her by the back of her shirt, trying to stop her from falling.
“I had to push him into the stands a little bit to keep him from hitting (the ground) too hard.”
He said he would like to take his young children to games in the future. ”
Wharton, a two-time Super Bowl champion, is playing his fifth season with the Chiefs. He recorded two tackles in Sunday's win, helping the Chiefs get back on track after suffering their first loss of the season to the Buffalo Bills. previous week.
