Patrick Mahomes is a big reason why Kansas City chiefs have shook the Vince Lombardi trophy over back-to-back seasons. He was selected as the Super Bowl MVP after winning each of those championships.
Mahomes won Super Bowl MVP honors for the first time in a 2020 match with the Chiefs' victory over the San Francisco 49ers.
Mahomes entered the big game on Sunday in pursuit of an unprecedented third consecutive Super Bowl title, but admitted that he still sticks to him for the second time playing the NFL title game.

In his first season with the Buccaneers, Tom Brady led Tampa Bay to the 2021 Super Bowl. On Wednesday in New Orleans, the site of this year's Super Bowl, Mahomes was asked if there was a specific game that would still keep him from settling down.

Mahomes mentioned the 31-9 loss to the Super Bowl Brady and the Bucks.
“Super Bowl vs Tampa,” he replied. “That's very easy.”

Mahomes finished that game with 270 passing yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions. While Brady threw fewer yards (201), he was credited for three touchdowns in the air, with no sales commitment.
Brady will be in the Fox Broadcast booth at the start of this Sunday Super Bowl. Instead of preparing for a seven-time Super Bowl champion, Mahomes and the Chiefs will focus on trying to compete against the Jalen Hearts and the Philadelphia Eagles.

Hurts is appearing in his second career in the league's championship game. The Eagles were hurt in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft. He helped Philadelphia advance to the 2023 Super Bowl, but the Eagles lost 38-35 to the Chiefs. This year's game in New Orleans will be a Super Bowl rematch two years ago.
Super Bowl coverage begins on Sunday at Fox at 1pm, with the game kicking off at 6:30pm. Tubi allows you to stream coverage for free.
