San Jose State's women's volleyball team has been embroiled in controversy, but Colorado State wasn't afraid.
The Spartans have transgender player Blair Fleming on their roster, which resulted in four teams withdrawing or canceling games against the school.
Colorado State chose to play against the University, and it's easy to see why, as they won Thursday's match in three sets to none (25-18, 25-20, 25-20).

It was an eventful night for Fleming, who had a match-high 14 kills, but Fleming also made 10 errors. Although Fleming's kill rate was only 9.5%, Fleming was set up for kills 42 times, which was far more than anyone else in the match.
It was San Jose State's first loss of the season.
Thursday's game came about 48 hours after Utah State became the fourth program to decide not to play Fleming State and San Jose State.
A San Jose State spokesperson also confirmed to Fox News Digital that the Aggies informed the team that the game was canceled and Utah State would lose due to a forfeit.

Trans female athlete 'blinded' on volleyball court prompts civil rights complaint and lawsuit
Southern Utah, Boise State and the University of Wyoming all did so. All three schools have so far not given reasons for their losses other than to say they understand the impact on their win-loss records.
The NCAA issued a statement against Outkick when Boise State forfeited its game against SJSU.
“College sports are the highest stage for women's sports in America, and NCAA members will continue to advance Title IX, make unprecedented investments in women's sports, and ensure that every NCAA championship provides equal access to all student-athletes. We will ensure competition.”
The 6-foot-1 Fleming has been instrumental in the Spartans' success, with Fleming's 139.5 points and 119 kills both ranking second on the team.
San Jose State was scheduled to play Wyoming next, but is one of four programs to decline the matchup.

Macy Petty, a legislative assistant with Concerned Women of America and an NCAA volleyball player, talked about how players are “blindsided” by the NCAA's failure to inform teams that they have a transgender player on the opposing team. He spoke with FOX News Digital's Sarah Rumpf-Witten about how he feels.
“There's no informed consent from the schools here, there's no informed consent from the female players. When they go on the court, they're completely blinded and they know there's a male player on the other side,” Petty said. Ta.
