Colorado Governor Jared Police enjoyed President Donald Trump in the April Fools Day post.
“No one likes photos or paintings that you can't miss of themselves, so I went in a different direction for the official portrait,” Police said in an X post featuring animated images of himself as a character in the official portrait “South Park.”
Police, a Democrat, supports Colorado's art, said “this portrait was an exciting opportunity to do just that while embedding my image into the structure of Colorado history.”
The Trump portrait he claimed was “deliberately distorted” to be defeated from the Colorado State Capitol.

South Park, which revolves around four friends, is set in Colorado.
Last month, Trump called for his portrait to be defeated from Denver's state capitol after harshly criticizing the painting and its artist.
“No one likes bad paintings or paintings of himself, but Colorado's paintings, the Capitol, along with all the other presidents, was deliberately distorted to a level that we probably never saw before.”
Last week, a Democrat at the Capitol said the oil paintings painted by artist Sara Boardman during Trump's first term would be overthrown at the request of the Republican leaders of the state legislature.

Despite criticism of Trump's police, the Democratic governor was not in office when the portrait was commissioned in 2019.
On March 16, Police shared his image at South Park, with comedic duoterrance and Philip also featured on the show, promoting Colorado's relationship with Canada.
