Harris will team up with perhaps two of the most popular Democrats in the country next week, as the 2024 race between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Trump comes to a close.
Harris' campaign announced Friday that the vice president will join former President Barack Obama and his wife, former first lady Michelle Obama, at voting events in two of the seven battleground states, Georgia and Michigan.
According to her campaign, Harris will team up with the Obamas in Georgia on Thursday, October 24th. Early voting began earlier this week in the Southeast, a key battleground region, and immediately set new records.
Harris' advisers also said the vice president would join forces again on the campaign trail in Michigan on Saturday, October 26, when early voting begins across the state in the key battleground Great Lakes.

This will be the first time Harris has teamed up with Obama on a campaign campaign since she replaced President Biden as the top Democrat on the 2024 ticket about three months ago.
Kamala Harris collaborates with anti-Trump Republicans
The Obamas, longtime friends of Harris's, formally endorsed her as a presidential candidate in July, five days after Biden's blockbuster announcement that he was withdrawing his bid for re-election and endorsing his vice president.
The former president and first lady made back-to-back headline speeches at the Democratic National Convention in their hometown of Chicago in August to make Harris' case.

And a week ago, the former president traveled to Pennsylvania, where Harris is campaigning, perhaps the most important of the seven battleground states that will determine the outcome of the presidential election.
The former president plans to return to the campaign trail in the coming days with stops in Tucson, Arizona, Las Vegas, Nevada, Detroit, Michigan, and Madison, Wisconsin.
