Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy said Monday he rescinded an offer of “a moment to be taught” to one of the men allegedly involved in anti-Semitic signs at one of the company's bars.
Sports media personality explained the new twist that occurred in the video. A video of a sign reading “f —Jews” surfaced across social media over the weekend. Portnoy initially learned about the Holocaust against Jews during World War II, offering to send off the perpetrators to Auschwitz, a Polish Nazi-run concentration camp.

Portnoy spoke to two men who were involved in the incident, and said they both were “accountable” for their actions over the weekend. Portnoy said a post from one of the people identified as Mo Kahn posted a lengthy statement on Instagram that he had nothing to do with the incident.
The statement alleges that the suspect “documented what happened as a citizen journalist,” adding that since the video went viral, he “facing a serious threat to my safety, which is overwhelming.”
The statement said, “I hate it in all ways. I have been raised to be respectful and friendly to all people. I hope that it will come out of this incident.
Portnoy called Khan after seeing the statement and said he felt pressured to admit something that he claimed was not actually involved.
“I said, 'Hey, a–hole, you uploaded this to Instagram,” he said. “I didn't put your f —- ing's name is there. Others uploaded it to Instagram so you got it. You laughed a lot about it.” And he's like, “No, it wasn't me, I wouldn't do it.” And I said, “Well, I'm getting millions of DMs about you.

Portnoy said Khan is not going to explain other suspicious anti-Semitic social media posts, adding, “Maybe my parents can explain that.” The moment Portnoy was confused.
“It's like I'm making this a teaching moment and trying to throw a lifeline at a child. He said, 'Well, I'm already hanging from the temple' because you posted a “f —Jew” sign to the bar on social media,” Portnoy said. “What do you not get about that? Maybe once you learn life lessons, if people see you go to Poland and you look like you've changed, this will be behind you.”
Portnoy reveals that he is not going to send the man after all.
“F —, sorry, man. I've thrown a lifeline at you and tried to make something out of it. And now are you a “civic journalist”? Did you have nothing to do with that? Buddy, you uploaded the sign “F —Jews”, everyone laughed. ”
Fox News Digital reached out to Khan for comment via social media. Some of his social media have been removed.
