Senator Ben Stiller, Dave McCormick and others praised Barstool sports founder Dave Portnoy for how he dealt with the perpetrator who started signing “f–Jews” at one of the company's bars.
Portnoy said in a video on Sunday that two men who launched anti-Semitism signs at the Philadelphia facility will be sent to Auschwitz, Poland, to learn about the Holocaust. More than 1.1 million Jews were killed in the Nazi concentration camp on the premises.

“I will not only use @stoolpresidente's good to quickly tackle the horrifying display of hatred on display in Philadelphia, the city of brotherhood last night, but also as an opportunity to educate the tragic history of anti-Semitic hatred and violence,” writes McCormick.
“We can't see the opposite of anti-Semitism. It needs to be identified, called out and crushed every time we raise an ugly head.”
Stiller “consents” with Portnoy about going to the perpetrator's burnt earth. However, Portnoy eventually calms down and instead decides to educate the man about the horrors of the Holocaust.
“When everyone sees it, they need to invoke anti-Semitism. Thank you to @stoolpresidente for doing the actual work to ensure change.”
“This is a great use of money,” added former NFL sideline reporter Michele Tafoya.
“True leadership,” wrote Chael Sonnen, a former MMA fighter.
The “f —Jew” sign appeared at one of the bars at Philadelphia's Bar Stool Sports on Saturday. The man who posted the video showed others laughing, singing and dancing, just as the music blew through the background. The sports media personality initially said he was on a “mission to destroy these people.”
However, the cooler head seemed to win.
“These are the young f — people who did this. They're drunk. Do you really want to ruin someone's life?” Portnoy said. “And honestly, I don't know what's going on in the world… I've been playing a barstool for 20 years. I had a half hatred and more anti-Semitism last year, year.

“And I'm not talking about politics or what's going on in the Middle East – I just hate groups of people. You hate my parents, you hate my grandparents – it's crazy.
Portnoy said he was trying to turn “a horrifying incident” into a learning moment.
“I talked to the perpetrators who are very involved in it and talked with my family. I'm sending these kids to Auschwitz. They agreed to go. Of course, it's a Holocaust concentration camp.
Harvard University president apologises for failing to deal with anti-Semitism, Islamophobia after a new report is released
“We're going to send these kids to Auschwitz. They're going to do a tour of concentration camps (in Poland). Hopefully we'll learn something. Their lives will never be considered again, and more importantly, others aren't just you throwing around.
Portnoy said two other waitresses involved in the incident had been fired.
“I was shaking. I was really crazy for the past two hours,” he said in the first video. “I make it a mission to ruin these people — in my life. I'm coming to your throat, I'll never finish.”
Anti-Semitism has been on the rise since Hamas' terrorist attacks on Israeli Jews on October 7, 2023.
