Bryson Deccanbeau was paired with Rory McIlroy in the final round of Sunday's Masters, but it appears the two didn't exchange words on the tense days when they saw both golfers struggling to the end.
After filming 75 and finishing tournament 7, Liv Golf Star, who spoke to the media, revealed that he had not spoken with McIlroy once during the final pairing.

“I don't know,” Deccanbeau said of how McIlroy turned out after the round. “You didn't talk to me all day.”

Deccanbeau said he enjoyed the excitement of the day, but said his partner seemed zoned.
“He was just like, 'Yeah.' It's just focusing.
Deccanbo said later when asked if he was about to start a conversation with McIlroy, “He won't tell me.”

Despite the failed day, McIlroy completed his career slam in his first victory at Augusta National after Rose defeated Justin Rose in the 18-one-hole playoffs after missing a 15-foot putt for a birdie.

DeChambeau shared with the shock of McIlroy's biggest failure of 13, when McIlroy missed the mark for 20 yards on the second shot. The ball disappeared into Rays Creek, leading to a double bogey.
“I wanted to cry for him. As a professional, you just know that you hit it in the middle of the green and you must have no idea he'd gone for it or burned it,” he said. When you're trying to win a major championship, especially Master Augusta's Sunday here, you have to do it and get the job done and do the right thing. ”

It wasn't pretty, but McIlroy joined the Rare Company in a victory at Augusta and became the sixth golfer in history to win all four majors.
“There was a point in my career that I didn't know if I had this lovely outfit on my shoulder. But today I didn't make it easy. It certainly wasn't easy. I was nervous.”
“This was one of the toughest days I've ever had on a golf course.”
