“Devo and I talk all the time and he's like one of my best friends on this team. I love Devo and what he's done for me and helped me. I really love you,” the quarterback said Tuesday.
“I think he's right. He's doing a great job of what we're asking him to do offensively right now. And he's not struggling or anything. But a player like Ricky (Pearsall) It's the same thing, as I said before with players like Aiyuk and Aiyuk last year.''I think there are moments throughout the season when teams can't get the ball. But depending on the scheme and the defensive scheme, they take away players. That's why I want to win Devo. We want him to beat the best record he can on every play, and that's what we're doing in this building. But I love my game. He and I are going to do everything we can to give him the ball.”
