Deion Sanders made it clear last month before the Alamo Bowl that he intended to remain as the Colorado Buffaloes coach long-term, despite rumors circulating that he might jump.
On Wednesday, Sanders appeared to issue a warning about his earlier comments. He suggested that the only way to return to the NFL was to get a chance to coach his sons.

“You know what? The only way I can think of is to coach my sons,” he said on Wednesday's “GMA3” show. He indicated he would like to focus on his “sons” and mentor both Shedour and Shiloh Sanders.
“I love Colorado. I love the Buffaloes. I love everything we're building. I love what we're doing and I love Boulder, Colorado.” he added.
He said in a trailer for the upcoming season of Amazon Prime Video's “Coach Prime” that the 2024 season was special because he was “99 percent” sure it would be his last chance to coach his sons.
Sanders could do it, but it would take a lot of time.

Former Patriots coach Jerrod Mayo played cards with players on flight home after double-digit loss: Report
Among the top 10 picks in the NFL Draft, the New England Patriots, Jacksonville Jaguars, Las Vegas Raiders, New York Jets, New Orleans Saints and Chicago Bears each have head coaching positions. Only the Raiders had a chance to select a quarterback.
Shedule Sanders is expected to be one of the first picks in the draft, but it all depends on what the five teams ahead of them do. The Tennessee Titans definitely need a quarterback, and if they stay at No. 1, they'll likely pick one. The Cleveland Browns are in need of a quarterback, but may opt to acquire a veteran free agent. The New York Giants also need a quarterback, but they have many other needs to address.
Shiloh Sanders may not be a first-round pick, which could make it easier for Deion Sanders or any team he manages to select him.

It's a lot of what-ifs for each of the Sanders boys to play together. It would take a perfect storm, but crazier things are happening in the NFL.
