Democrat strategists have allegedly sparked tensions among party leaders rather than skipping President Donald Trump's joint speech to Congress.
“I think it would be smart enough to boycott a speech,” democratic political strategist Jim Manley told Fox News Digital. “It showed up and gave the legitimacy that Trump wasn't worthy.”
He asked if Democrats who interrupted the president's speech thought it was a good strategy, and Andrew Bates, former President Joe Biden's senior White House vice president, told Fox News Digital, “no.”
“When (D-Michigan Sen. Elissa) Slotkin made Republicans pay you 'more in every part of your life', when you need to grow your congregation, the protests that preached to the choir did to cut taxes for the rich,” Bates said.

Democrat House leaders are reportedly “very unhappy” with the interruption made by lawmakers during their speech. This was to hold on by screaming out the paddles that read “The Theft of Musk,” and to invite some of them to attend the “coming Jesus Meeting” to discuss their actions.
“I didn't think the democratic response in the room had worked. It just contributed to theatre,” Brad Bannon, president of Bannon Communications Research, a political consulting firm, told Fox in an interview. “No one can beat Trump in plays. Sorry, I love Democrats in Congress, but I won't get close when it comes to plays.”
“In my opinion, it would have made more sense, rather than absorbing Trump's words and acting as a distraction to the lies and falsehoods he said,” Bannon added. “So I don't think the democratic response in the room was good.”

Rep. D-Texas Al Green refused to stand up and sit in Trump's speech, leading to speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.), and ordered the sergeant to take him out of the room.
Democratic strategist David Axelrod said Green's protest “gets a lot of Atavoys from the base,” but it didn't resonate with most Americans.
“But, along with many other Americans, not just Republicans, it wasn't as appealing as (GOP officials) Marjorie Taylor Green and Lauren Boebertling Biden,” Axelrod said in an interview. “It's just not particularly useful.”
Democrats were also criticized for not standing up while the president introduced DJ Daniel, a 13-year-old cancer survivor during his joint speech.

“You know, it's very individualistic. And, as I think, is there so many other things we can focus on?” D-Hawaii Sen. Mazie Hirono said when asked why members of the Democrats didn't support Daniel. “The term 'betrayal' comes to mind when it comes to the president. ”
Another Democrat, D-Vt. Sen. Peter Welch, of the film, told Fox News Digital that it was a “momentary story,” but told Fox News Digital, “It's pretty bad that he's cutting off cancer research, of course.”

However, Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.) violated his party on the issue.
“I don't know why we can't celebrate completely,” Fetterman told Nicholas Baracie for Fox. “I mean, I'm 13-year-old myself and I'm grateful that she's never had cancer, but I think that's something we can all celebrate there. And I think it was an emotional moment. And like I said, it's some of America's best experiences.”
