Michael Jordan's team has responded to a false post circulating on social media that claimed the singer supported former President Donald Trump on the eve of Tuesday's election.
Estee Portnoy, a senior vice president at Jump Management, responded to the post with a statement on Monday, saying Jordan is not endorsing any candidate in the 2024 presidential election.

The statement was made in response to a post claiming the six-time NBA champion is one of the “latest” people to support Trump. Posts on X have been viewed over 1.8 million times. The social media platform added additional context to the post stating there was “no evidence” to support the claim.
Several other prominent NBA figures spoke out about the president's choice in the days leading up to Tuesday's election.
LeBron James, Stephen Curry, Steve Kerr, and Gregg Popovich have all publicly supported Vice President Kamala Harris. The latter criticized Trump, calling him a “pathetic person.”

The Trump-Harris presidential election drama has permeated the sports world: Who spoke out?
“He's a small guy, and because he wants to be big, he has to make everyone around him smaller,” Popovich added. “And isn't that the same thing we teach all our kids in elementary school? It's not what you do. It's not what you do.”
Other sports figures have also endorsed Trump, including Harrison Butker, Brett Favre, Nick Bosa and Jake Paul.
Paul went viral for his nearly 20-minute video urging voters to “do the right thing.”
