The Democratic National Committee (DNC) has launched a month-long action to “fight to save Medicaid,” targeting four “vulnerable” House Republicans whom Democrats claim to be “positioned to disrupt Medicaid and other important programs.”

Republicans fired immediately on Friday in a statement from Fox News Digital.

“Fraudulent Democrats need to change the name of their campaign because the “fight to save taxpayer-funded welfare benefits for illegal immigration” is what they are really trying to do.”

“This is a hopeless political stunt, it's simple and simple. The truth is that Rep. Lawler is very clear about this. He votes to protect and strengthen Medicaid for those who rely on this critical program.”

DNC's multiple pressure campaign, including digital, local and direct action, targets Roller in New York, Tom Barrett in Michigan, Don Bacon in Nebraska, and Brian Fitzpatrick in Pennsylvania. The DNC advises voters to post “accountability content” on social media, host “People's Town Hall” in Republican Congressional districts, and sends phone or emails to “inform their anger.”

DNC Chairman Ken Martin said four Congressional Republicans would “seal political fate in line with Trump's disastrous budget.”

“To understand that these Republicans are either votes or work, the DNC is launching the first-ever distributed organizational program to provide voters with a platform for Democrats to take direct action, from hosting town halls to building grassroots for major elections, to mobilizing individual networks, against the GOP budget,” Martin said.

Trump says public qualifications like Social Security, Medicaid won't be able to touch on the GOP budget bill

Since President Donald Trump was elected in November, Democrats have opposed Medicaid cuts, but the White House has argued that public qualifications, including Social Security and Medicaid, will not be cut under the Republican budget bill.

“All National Democrats are a tactic with pathetic lies and fear to distract them from failure. They were already forced to defeat fraudulent Medicaid ads across the country.

Last month, Democrats were forced to defeat six signs aimed at Republican lawmakers. Gabe Evans, Don Bacon, Ryan Mackenzie, Monica de la Cruz, Jen Kiggans and Rob Wittman were responsible for Lamar ads after the NRCC sent a ceasefire, as reported by Washington examiners.

“What DC Democrats are saying about Medicaid is against having job requirements for healthy adults with no child, and ensuring that only eligible individuals will receive benefits, and that only those legally here will qualify,” Bacon told Fox News Digital in a statement. “The way a group of 12 Republicans have identified to improve Medicaid is uncontroversial or reduce the quality of care. We are protecting children and the most vulnerable people. The last time the DNC targeted me on this issue, the billboard companies drew ads for false information.”

Bacon denounced Billboard's DNC, but DNC was not part of its advertising campaign. House Majority Forward, a super PAC focused on House Democrat elections, has launched its Billboard campaign.

Despite Republican assurances that Medicaid services will be protected, there is debate among the parties about how to reduce wasteful spending within the program. These arguments don't include tips or social security taxes as Republicans try to extend Trump's 2017 tax cuts and offer Trump's “big beautiful bill.”

But Democrats have warned “fragile” House Republicans that Medicaid cuts are a losing issue, and their new campaign will not only hold Republicans accountable, but will help them regain the Democratic majority in 2026.

“House Republicans are on track to lose the trust of Americans and lose the medium term for their promised records. They are consistently selling out billionaire supporters, even when it means supporting catastrophic cuts to healthcare access,” said Chairman Suzan Delvene.
