The Miami Dolphins ended a three-game losing streak and returned to the win column with a 23-15 win against the Los Angeles Rams on “Monday Night Football.”
The Dolphins, who sit in last place in the AFC East with a 2-6 record, were looking for a win on the road at SoFi Stadium on Monday night, and they got the win against a Rams team that is currently 4-5.
Tua Tagovailoa and the Dolphins offense carried the momentum they started the game into, moving seamlessly down the field and scoring touchdowns.

Tagovailoa gained 70 yards in just five plays and scored six points on Malik Washington's 18-yard run.
This was kind of a trick play, as Tagovailoa faked a handoff to Devon Ashen in the backfield, then gave the handoff to Washington running in the opposite direction.
Meanwhile, the Rams' offense, led by Matthew Stafford, which has been performing well in recent weeks, was stymied by the Dolphins' defense throughout the game.

The Rams had three punts and two turnovers (one interception by Stafford and one fumble by Kyren Williams) in their first five drives, and were eventually able to make a field goal.
In fact, the Rams never found the end zone in the game, and all of their points came from kicker Josh Carty's feet.
The Dolphins slowed down after the opening drive touchdown, but were able to find the color paint again, eventually allowing Tyreek Hill to play for the first time since Week 1.
It was a day for Hill, who had three catches for just 16 yards, including a 1-yard touchdown catch on a great play call. Hill leaked a shot that appeared to be an Atchane run, but Tagovailoa quickly pulled the ball out and threw a strike to Hill, who secured it.

Jason Sanders kicked a field goal, effectively sealing the victory for Miami. The Rams only made Carty's fifth field goal of the game near the end of the fourth quarter, and an onside kick was their last hope with a potential overtime ending.
However, Miami secured that attempt for Los Angeles and tasted victory again.
Looking at the box score, Tagovailoa was 20-of-28 for 207 yards, including a touchdown and an interception, while Stafford was 23-of-46 for 293 yards.
Puka Nacua led the receiving department in the game, catching nine passes for 98 yards, and Cooper Kupp caught seven passes for 80 yards.
