Duke Phenom Cooper Flag got a standing ovation Monday night from Cameron Indoor Faithful, which may have been his last home game in the Blue Devil uniform.
Last month, Flag admitted that he “hopes to “come back” to Durham next season, but that's not what he's expected No. 1 pick in the NBA Draft at all.
“Cameron Crazy” knows that fact, so when he was taken out of the game in the final minutes, they attacked him with a “another year” chant.

Flag said he “certainly” heard the chant, but was vague about his future with the team.
“I mean, I'm living in the present, I'm living in the moment, I'm taking it every day,” he said. “I don't know what the future holds.”
“I mean, this is certainly the best place in college basketball,” Flag added. “I've loved every minute of being here. I've loved everyone I've met, everyone I've been to all these years. It's been a great year.”
When it was time for him to check out at 3:34 left, he slapped his hands with his teammates Zion James and Isaiah Evans, and he began heading out into his jersey towards the Duke's bench. He greeted Coach John Sheir with a high five and embrace, and headed down the bench to embrace his coaches, staff and teammates as he began to seek an unlikely second act next season's crowd.

“Talent speaks for itself. I love coaching his talent,” Shayer said. “But I love coaching someone. He's all about the right thing.”
Duke will close out the regular season on Saturday, revisiting his rivalry with the University of North Carolina on a trip to Chapel Hill. They then head to the ACC Championship before going to the big dance.
If it was his last match at Duke, he gave the fans a nice farewell gift, dropping 28 points, grabbing eight rebounds and handing out seven assists in a 93-60 victory at Wake Forest.
