Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver AJ Brown raised eyebrows with his actions on the bench during Sunday night's playoff victory over the Green Bay Packers.
In the fourth quarter, a Fox broadcast caught Brown sitting among his teammates on the bench and reading a book.

“I haven't seen many people read books, but I have seen quarterbacks eat hot dogs,'' said Tom Brady, former New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez himself. He spoke while touching on topics from his playing days.
At that time, I happened to see the title of the book “Inner Excellence: Train Your Mind for Extraordinary Performance and the Best Possible life” on the broadcast. This book was written by Jim Murphy.

The book's description says, “Whether you're an athlete, an entrepreneur, a single mom or a father of five, you'll find exercises, techniques, and tools to improve every area of your life.” It is written. “Your life will take on new meaning as you move beyond the pursuit of happiness to a life of purpose and fulfillment.”
Brown said after the game that he brings the book to the sideline every week.
“It gives me a sense of peace,” he said via NFL Network. “This is a book that I bring every game. My teammates call it recipes. … There's a lot of points in there. A lot of mental games.”
Golf great Stewart Cink and PGA Tour coach Matt Killen are both cited in support of Murphy's book, according to the Amazon page.
Mr. Sink is quoted as saying, “My number one tip for success is to read “Inner Excellence'' by Jim Murphy.''
“I read the first edition of Inner Excellence six times and recommend it to all my clients,” Killen was quoted as saying.
