Lincoln Financial Field has hosted Philadelphia Eagles home games for more than 20 years.
During that time, the football stadium at the South Philadelphia Sports Complex developed a reputation for being one of the most difficult locations in the NFL for opposing teams to visit. Eagles fans regularly gather at what locals affectionately call “The Rink,” creating a raucous environment.
But during Sunday's wild-card round game against the Green Bay Packers, an Eagles fan was seen relentlessly punching a woman who was wearing a Packers uniform.

A video posted on social media shows an unidentified male fan wearing a green Eagles jacket making profane comments toward Packers fans seated on the upper deck of the stadium. There is.

A social media user captioned a video showing at least part of the unpleasant exchange: “I wonder what it's like to go to Philadelphia just to cheer on the team…” “Unprovoked, uncalled for. Packers Twitter, please help me find this guy…This is wrong.”

The video had more than 18 million views on X (formerly known as Twitter) as of Monday afternoon.
Another man in the video told Eagles fans to stop badmouthing the woman, to which the assailant responded: “She's ugly, stupid. Are you going to do anything? Watch the game now.” . . ”
The woman, who caused Eagles fans' obvious anxiety, remained calm for the most part throughout the video. However, she made a “boo hoo” gesture at one point.
It's unclear whether Eagles fans will face any disciplinary action from the team.

As for the game itself, quarterback Jalen Hurts returned from missing two games after being diagnosed with a concussion. The two-time Pro Bowler threw two touchdowns and helped lead Philadelphia to a 22-10 victory over Green Bay.

The Eagles are awaiting the outcome of Monday night's game between the Minnesota Vikings and Los Angeles Rams. Due to ongoing wildfires in the Los Angeles area, the match was relocated to Glendale, Arizona. The winner of the final wild card round game will travel to Philadelphia this weekend for a divisional round matchup against the Eagles.
