On third down with 1:46 left, Jalen Hurts rolled out and threw an easy ball to Barkley that was dropped. Had Barkley made the catch, Philadelphia would have had at least another first down and sealed the game.
But with 1 minute, 39 seconds left, Philadelphia scored a field goal to make the score 21-15.
Of course, the ball ended up in Kirk Cousins' hands with no timeouts remaining, and the Eagles were able to barely get any pressure on the veteran quarterback, who was throwing the ball all over the field.

Cousins then hit Drake London for the tying touchdown, then Young-Ho Koo hit a long pass to put the Falcons ahead, 22-21. On the next drive, Jesse Bates III passed to Hurts to tie the game and give the Falcons the win.
Eagles fans were furious with Barkley.
“We dropped the ball and we lost the game,” Barkley said after the game, via the Delaware News Journal.
“It was a great play call. Now it's just a matter of catching it,” he added.
The running back ran 22 times for 95 yards, catching four of his five targets for 21 yards.
