The Philadelphia Eagles are aiming for a Super Bowl appearance, but they will very likely need a franchise quarterback to get there.
But a few weeks ago, Birds fans collectively held their breath when Jalen Hurts went down with a concussion.
Hurts missed the final two games of the season due to a head injury. Notably, the Eagles rested a lot of their starting pitchers in the final game of the season against the New York Giants, but even if they hadn't, Hurts would have been sidelined as he is still in concussion protocol. .

But on Wednesday, Philadelphia received some good news as he stepped onto the practice field for the first time since the injury.
Hurts was seen pitching without a helmet. Therefore, although he was unable to record a full appearance, he was at least one step closer to the biggest game of the season.
The Eagles won the East, finishing 14-3 on the season and earning the No. 2 seed in the NFC. However, it is by no means an easy match.

They will host the No. 7 seed Green Bay Packers for the second year in a row. Still, they were able to beat the Cowboys in Dallas last year, and this year's 11-6 team has far more experience than last year.
Philadelphia won both games without Hurts this year, but lost to the Washington Commanders in the game in which Hurts was injured.
Even better news for the Birds is that they don't have a game until Sunday, as they have two games on Saturday. Hearts therefore have one more day.
