Damian Woody, who won two Super Bowls with the New England Patriots, criticized Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni on Monday for fans speaking trash.
Sirianni barked back at fans after the Eagles narrowly defeated the Cleveland Browns. He heard boos and chants of “Fire Knick” as his team won.

Woody told ESPN's “The Get Up” that Sirianni's antics were clownish.
“What's this clown doing, brother? This guy is a clown,” said Woody. “I'm serious. You're going to talk some serious shit to your fans. Your own fans? Look, people are paying a lot of money to come out here and watch you unveil your product on the field. It's natural for fans to boo you if you don't perform well because they think your team stinks.
“Then I'm going to take my kids to the post-game to soften the blow of the reporters' questions. This guy's a straight clown, brother. I'm totally against what this guy's doing. No respect. Y” “Everyone just barely beat the awful Cleveland Browns and you want to badmouth the fans.”

Sirianni didn't necessarily address the lack of fan support on home soil.
“I'm excited to get the win,” Sirianni said. “Thank you for your support Linc.”
He said several players on the Eagles told him they needed him.
“Nick, we want you back. We need your energy. We need your focus,” Sirianni said.
A blowout victory over the Browns would have dampened Sirianni's enthusiasm. But with a close win and a 3-2 start, pundits' eyes are focused on how Philadelphia will fare this season.
In 2023, the Eagles started 10-1 and seemed destined for a second straight Super Bowl appearance. However, the team lost five of its last six games and was eliminated in the wild card round of the playoffs.
