Michigan football coach Sheron Moore is expected to hold two games suspended during the 2025 season as part of school voluntary sanctions following the 2023 Conor Stallian Scouting scandal.
Moore, who was named full-time Wolverine head coach after Jim Harbaugh's departure, was linked to a series of deleted text messages between him and Stallion.
The message was thought to have been exchanged for news of the same day of a scheme suspected of stealing the signs.

According to a draft notice of the NCAA claim obtained in 2024, the message was ultimately recovered via “device imaging.”
“If you're lying as an NCAA college football coach, in my personal opinion, you're done,” Meyer said in a recent edition of The Triple Options Show.
“It's not writing text messages. It's not going to be lunching with someone you're not going to lunch with. It's not sending a letter when you're not supposed to,” Meyer said. “All flirty level 3 and all of its nonsense.”

Meyer admitted that his opinion was harsh, but he said that suspicious behavior was unacceptable.

Stallion was suspended by Michigan in October 2023 and resigned from his position in the football program the following month. He was named defensive coordinator at Detroit Mumford High School in August 2024.

Meyer coached the Buckeyes for the national title after the 2014 regular season, with Ohio State becoming the first college football playoff winner. Ohio State defeated Notre Dame in January to win its latest national championship.
