The Colorado Rockies dropped the final game of their three-game series against the New York Yankees at Coors Field on Sunday.
The Rockies now have lost eight of their last 10 games.
Colorado's 9-44 records represent the worst winning loss record in MLB. Plus, the Rockies' start in the 2025 season has been a historically bad one. The team had already secured the worst 50 games in modern major league history.
Many Rockies fans may be disappointed with the team's rough season, but one supporter has decided to take legal action.

At least one Roeckel's eyes and his face suffered “devastating and permanent injuries,” the lawsuit said. He claimed that the flaws in the stadium's design contributed to the inability to see the foul ball when it was coming in his direction.

Roeckel highlighted some of the architectural elements he claimed. More specifically, it is said that overhangs create a limited view as they are related to objects moving from the field towards the stand.
The lawsuit also pointed to the Coorsfield net, claiming that the protection material had not been properly extended throughout the ballpark.
However, it wasn't the only complaint the fans had. The lawsuit also raised the issue that the Rockies “long-standing performance on the field (HAS) contributed to a game day environment where audiences, particularly those in luxury suites, were less involved in action on the field.”

The Rockies have not celebrated a winning season since 2018.
Last year, a Chicago White Sox loss of 121 set up an MLB record. The Rockies are leaving their pace to break that unwanted record.
