Former New England Patriots fullback Patrick Pass was arrested on Wednesday after he allegedly assaulted an elderly man at a Planet Fitness gym in North Providence, Rhode Island.
According to multiple reports, Paz, 46, got into an argument with an 82-year-old man at a gym over exercise equipment after the former NFL player allegedly shoved the victim to the floor.
The man reportedly injured his back when he fell to the ground.

According to the New York Post, Paz was arrested and charged with assault causing bodily injury to a man over 60 years of age, a felony in Rhode Island, and disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor.

Paz was given $10,000 bail and ordered to have no contact with the victim, according to court records.
Paz's next trial is scheduled for January.

Pass won four Super Bowl championships during his eight-year career, playing one game in his final season with the New York Giants in 2007, when the team ended an undefeated season by defeating Tom Brady and the Patriots in the Super Bowl.
Pass was selected in the seventh round of the 2000 NFL Draft, one round after Brady's famous selection, and rushed for 526 yards and three touchdowns in 78 games with New England.
He also had 66 catches for 570 yards and a touchdown.

Paz was most recently the coach of the Massachusetts Pirates in the Indoor Football League, but was suspended indefinitely after players jumped into the stands during a game against the Arizona Rattlers.
