Colorado Rockies star third baseman Kris Bryant was reportedly one of many people whose cars were stolen by a car theft ring, but the cars were recovered after a multi-state investigation.
Bryant's 2023 Lamborghini Huracan was stolen from a Cherry Hills Village residence on Oct. 2, the Cherry Hills Village Police Department told FOX31 Denver.
Bryant was reportedly attempting to transport his vehicle to Las Vegas during the offseason. However, when the car never arrived at his home there, an investigation was launched.

According to FOX31 Denver, detectives discovered that the vehicle transport company that was supposed to take his Lamborghini to Las Vegas was a fraud.
This was a compromise of business email, which allowed the suspects to arrange unauthorized vehicle transportation.

On October 7, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's VIPER Auto Theft Team and Homeland Security Investigations successfully recovered Bryant's vehicle and arrested multiple suspects in the process.
Investigation revealed that two other vehicles were stolen, as well as multiple fraudulent VIN packages, key fobs, and false registration documents. One of the stolen vehicles other than Bryant was from California.
“This case highlights the Cherry Hills Village Police Department's commitment to protecting our community from sophisticated criminal schemes,” Chief Jason Lyons said, according to FOX31 Denver. “Through the diligent work of CHVPD crime analysts, detectives, and police officers, as well as our partnership with state and local agencies, stolen property was returned to its rightful owner and the suspect was brought to justice.”
Bryant grew up in Las Vegas and usually spends his offseason there. The 32-year-old has been with the Rockies for the past three seasons.

A four-time All-Star while with the Chicago Cubs, Bryant rose to the major leagues with stellar results, hitting .275/.369/.488 with 26 home runs and 99 RBIs, winning Rookie of the Year in 2015. . Over 151 games.
And the 2016 season was one that Bryant will never forget for Cubs fans. Bryant helped the franchise win its first World Series since 1908, ending a century-long curse.
Bryant won the National League MVP that season, batting .292/.385/.554 with 39 home runs and 102 RBIs in 155 games.
Bryant was ultimately traded to the San Francisco Giants during the 2021 season and ultimately signed a seven-year, $182 million deal with the Rockies before the 2022 season.
