Golf balls are more advanced than ever, and professional guys will be dealing with some of the best courses in the world.
Like technology, players are stronger and faster – and Jake Nap, whose swing could be the smoothest since Fred Couple, is close to the top of the driving distance list.
Knapp ranks 31st in terms of average mileage, with an average of 298.9 yards. His golf ball traveled over 113 miles this season on 666 drives.
Knapp joined 59 clubs at Cognizant Classic earlier this year, using its money driver, butter swing and hot putter.

However, it is easier to let the ball go further than extending the course, so USGA decided to roll back the technology of the ball to maintain the nature of the game.
The 31-year-old is safe to say, “I'm not actually a fan of rollbacks.”
“If we were trying to change golf in some way, I think you could do a lot of different things that don't change the trade of players or a lot of different things. I've basically played golf balls since I was a kid, probably going about the same distance. Knapp said in a recent interview with Fox News Digital that it would be as big as they think.”
Knapp is doubled that stance when working with both PXG and Pennzoil to hand out brand new drivers.

Charlie Woods will be added to the family legacy with his first major junior golf victory
From May 29th to June 25th, consumers who purchase the Pennzoil Platinum Full Synthetic Bundle at Advance Auto Parts or Carquest Retail Location before participating will be able to enter in store or online to earn a limited edition Pennzoil PXG driver.
“I think having two companies is at the top of the spectrum of their respective crafts. When the opportunity was born, it didn't seem easy for me, and when I heard about it, I really wanted to be involved,” Knapp said of the partnership.
Given a choice, Knapp wants to roll back the technology, not the ball itself.
“Personally, if they think that if there's a way to change it, they can make it more difficult or get what they want, then they can have more regulations in clubs like experts and tour events. “In my personal opinion, I think that's better than rolling the ball back.”
However, the Pennzoil PXG driver does not roll back a bit.

“It's one of the fastest drivers on the market right now. And, of course, forgiveness for that is really second. You have a lot of weight on your back, a nice big face that sets a square, and you can hit high ball speed, low spin, and more fairways.”
