House Oversight Committee Chairman James Kommer, R-KY. demands that several high-ranked staff appear in the White House of former President Joe Biden's, for a transcribed interview about a role he suspects of working “behind the scenes” to cover the serious mental decline of the former president during his term.
Kommer, who heads the House Committee on Surveillance and Government Reform, sent interview requests to four major Biden White House aides. She is former Director of the National Policy Council, Deputy Director Annie Tomasini, former president and vice-chief of staff, former female Anthony Bernal, and Senior Advisor to Annie Bernal, former vice-director to Oval Office Operations Ashley Williams.
Comer said all of these high-ranking staff “performed the interventions” and “performed President Biden's interference” and “performed the interventions” to avoid discovering worsening conditions during their tenure.
Aide Biden said, “A blackmail reporter investigating the former president's mental decline with an implicit threat:

The chairman also requested a transcribed interview with Biden's doctor, Dr. Kevin O'Connor.
Comer told Fox News last week that these “unelected bureaucrats” had an overwhelming influence on Biden, perhaps acting “effectively” as president in his place.
“Today, we are calling on President Biden's doctors and former White House advisors to participate in the transcripted interviews, so we can begin to unravel the truth,” Comer said in a statement.
The GOP effort comes shortly after the release of “Original Sin” by CNN host Jake Tapper and Axios reporter Alex Thompson. This argues that the Biden White House is trying to control the perception of elderly presidents' health failures. The book reveals Biden's cover-up of decline and his decision to run for reelection.
In an interview with Piers Morgan on Monday, Tupper said what Biden's aides did to hide their condition could be “even worse” than in the Watergate scandal during Richard Nixon's presidency.
“It's a scandal. It's unquestionable and perhaps even worse than Watergate in some ways,” Tupper said. “The only reason we call Watergate is to make it clear that it's not Watergate. This is a completely separate scandal and perhaps even worse.”

Comer said that “new details about President Biden's apparent declined demand have updated White House personnel actions and related information during the course of previous administrations,” while the committee investigated the cover-up for almost a year.
Comer said the committee “understands who made the important decisions and exercised administrative authority during the Biden administration.”
“The cover-up of President Biden's obvious mental decline is a historic scandal,” he said. “The American people deserve to know when this decline began, how far it went, and who was making critical decisions on his behalf.”
Recalling the previous attempt by the Observation Committee to summon these staff, Comer said, “The Biden White House prevented these individuals from offering testimony.” Now he said, “Continuous obstruction will be filled with prompt and decisive actions.” If staff and doctors do not respect his request, Comer said the “next step” would be to issue a subpoena and force him to testify.

On Tuesday, Comer also raised the possibility of issuing subpoenas to former White House press secretaries Karine Jean-Pierre, Hunter and Jill Biden.
“Obviously, we're interested in Jean Pierre. …We're interested in Jill Biden and Hunter Biden,” he said.
