$10 million for taxpayer funds spent on creating transgender animals: Rep. Nancy Mace
“Transgender animals get injured, shocked, get injected with street drugs and vaccines and undergo other intrusive procedures,” House Republicans, as reported earlier this year, said in a letter.
“President Trump has personally criticised these experiments several times, and government efficiency has cancelled millions of NIHs to fund transgender animal trials. However, these NIHs still take advantage of the gender transition of lab animals,” House GOP members said.

President Donald Trump condemned transgender animal testing during his joint speech to Congress in March. The White Court Waste Project, a government watchdog group that testified on transgender animal testing at Capitol Hill earlier this year, told Fox News Digital that there are still “29 active taxpayer-funded grants used to fund transgender animal testing.”
“We recommend that you include the above language in the 2026 Labor, Health and Welfare, Education and related institutional bills.
The White Court Waste Project promoted its role in halting taxpayer-funded “trans animal testing,” in a statement from Fox News Digital, celebrating the House Republican bill led by Gosar, and halted more federal funding.

“Thanks to the virus investigation into Whitecoat waste and collaborations with Congressional Rep. Paul Gozard and others, the Trump administration has significantly reduced spending on useless experiments in which lab animals are invasive surgery and hormone therapy, mimicking gender transitions that mimic the gender transitions of children and adults, embracing and shooting patients with the vice president's aging.

“Though these Trump cuts have already saved thousands of laboratory animals and millions of taxes, NIH grants that concentrate taxes to interfere with transgender animal testing are still active. Taxpayers should not be forced into the bill for vain and cruel transgender animal testing.
