Houston completed a brave comeback against Duke to win a trip to the national championship with Florida.
Cooper Flag, a potential No. 1 pick in the NBA Draft, missed a potential shot to win the game with less than eight seconds left if he decided to leave, and the Cougars fled in a 70-67 victory.

Duke was led by up to 12 people in the first half, but Houston was able to cut it to six.
But the whole second half was Duke. Houston had a span that missed seven of his eight shots when the Blue Devils took a game-high 14-point lead.
But then Houston cut it to 6 in just under 6 minutes with a 10-0 run. However, the wooden award-winning flag drained a third in just three minutes, making it a nine-point game.

Overall, the first former NBA star says Cooper Flag should return to Duke
However, the Cougars were not out. In fact, they ended it 11-1 at the final 1:14 and finished it.
Houston's Emmanuel Sharp knocked down 3 with 32.4 seconds left, cutting the deficit to three points. Then off from inbound, Duke flipped the ball over and Houston got a put-back dunk to make it a one-point game.
Duke's Tyrees Proctor then missed a one-on-one, and a flag's over-the-back foul led Houston to the line. J'wan Roberts hit both to lead.
Flag missed a shot that gave Duke a less than 10 seconds left, and Duke fouled, and LJ Kryer knocked down both free throws to get up three points. Duke missed the final shot at the buzzer and sent them overtime, sending Duke into the national title game.
Houston scored eight points in the final 33 seconds, becoming Duke's zero and completing his wild comeback.

The two teams shared the longest winning streak at the NCAA to take part in the contest. Houston is now 18 years old and Duke is now 15.
Flag finished with a game-high 27 points, but his last possible shot in Duke's uniform is something he wants to forget soon.
Houston will face Florida on Friday night for the national title.
