A lot of miracles and libs have been directed to CNN's recent Jake Tupper for co-authoring all the blockbuster books about how bad he and his colleagues are for their work.
But last week, one of his roughly 27 million television appearances, “Original Sing,” and as soon as the 2024 election was over, the book he took off with Axios' Alex Thompson said something very close to Tupper really understanding his subject and the work it almost hurts.
“Scenery” melts away in the latest Biden books.
Appearing on CBS News, Tapper said, “So there were people reporting what they saw. The conservative media was their credit. Now they had no insider information, but they understood every clip, every weird moment, and every weird moment.”
What Tupper misses here is that despite the lack of insider information, the conservative media didn't get it right in regards to Joe Biden's ineligible and ineligible offices.
In Tupper's twisted view of journalism, it is widely shared, and the evidence we see with our own eyes is not sufficient. Instead, it's not news until some whistleblowers spill the beans.

Since the Watergate scandal in the 1970s, everything has to be a Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein style scoop. The story is not realistic without some turn courts in the administration.
Clearly, the big problem here is that all of the Tupper and Thompson sources spent years deceiving them and the American people, but now, all of a sudden, we are expected to believe everything these same serial liars say.
sorry. It's not happening.
Let's take a fascinating story that Tapper and Thompson are spinning, as it was their eldest son, Hunter Biden, who actually ran the show. It's tasty, maybe the crack-addressed Brisma executive is really the smartest guy Joe has ever met. The artist behind the curtain.
But if you do, call me ironic, this particular version of the event happens to draw Tupper and Thompson insider sauce in the best possible light.

Essentially, these insiders are saying, “Man, we were trying to do the right thing, but that hunter, he blocked us on every opportunity.
And once again, Tupper and Thompson write it all down enthusiastically, as if they were standing on Mount Sinai, as if they were robbing the Ten Commandments dictates from God.
The bottom line is that even if you are generous souls who tend to trust Tupper and Thompson, only fools are the ones who trust their insider sources. Honestly, what's the point about reading books?
This speaks to a much deeper problem in journalism. Journalism tends to frame all political coverage as a government that lies and as a government that steals real truth when there is little actual truth happening.
Instead, these journalists confuse sourcing with access, so all “sources” are those who are moving their agenda. Well, all of a sudden, the agenda is to stack up Biden and save our reputation (for the media and insiders).
“Journalism is printing what anyone else doesn't want to print: Everything else is public relations.”
Tupper and Thompson have both done a lot of PR for the Democrats for a very long time.

Sources, especially anonymous sources, by definition, only tell the reporter what they want to print to the reporter. It may help sometimes, but it is by no means a whole story.
The hilarious final twist of all this is that Donald Trump has a president who has more questions than the average corporate call center and who has everything the press accused of sending immigrants to prisons in El Salvador and holding cryptoballs at resorts. It's all just open.
Postwatergate's “gotcha” journalism era has driven the industry off the cliffs. No one believes what journalists say, as they are mouthpieces for those in power.
The main job of a journalist is not to pry out some hidden information stored from people. They are not detectives. It's about reporting and analyzing what we know exactly.

In that respect, Joe Biden's decline reporting, his inability to serve is undoubtedly the worst journalism ever tested. Tupper and Thompson couldn't see what was right in front of their faces.
Turning the page is the time to go back to journalism, not speculation, but actually dealing with it. Until that happens, Americans have no reason to believe what Jake Tuppers and the world's Alex Thompson are telling them.
